BNL, Neil Young and Randy Bachman to headline Clean Air Concert

BNL, Neil Young, Randy Bachman and his son Tal Bachman are confirmed to play
The show will benefit the Crofton Airshed Citizens Group (CACG), a community-based organization.
Randy Bachman (The Guess Who), a resident of nearby Saltspring Island
The Clean Air Concert will be held at the Cowichan Centre in Duncan,
at the September 17th benefit concert on Vancouver Island.
Further surprise artists might be announced later.
The CACG is battling a local pulp mill's (Norske Canada's Crofton pulp mill)
proposal to burn "alternative" fuels to reduce fuel cost.
The CACG suspects, that the emission caused by the "alternative" fuel
causes cancer, respiratory problems and heart disease.
The money raised will help finance an independent study
of the health and environmental impacts of the mill.
decided to become involved last year, and is helping to organize the show.
